O/T Coronavirus Thread

The one thing about this bug is that it effects all classes . In saying that poor countries with poor health systems will probably get hammered, And yet some little tribe in the Amazon jungle will probably be blissfully unaware of all this and will be fine. Good for them is what I say. Just sort of shows if we had a bug which wiped the human race out these are the human beings who would get the human rece going again. Whether we would learn of the mistakes we have made and not co ck up again is another matter.

It is. People who think there are easy answers that are being missed don't understand the problem.

Been announced that a man aged 59 from Bristol sadly passed away with the coronavirus, which at the moment is the youngest victim of the virus.

State of California issues mandatory isolation orders for all over 65s. Haven't seen CT on here recently so hoping he's OK after the knee op?

Three school children from Kendray Academy have tested positive for the virus as of today , less than a mile from where I reside in Ardsley .

I sincerely hope they make a full recovery but it's a real reality and wake up call .

Doncaster 2 cases ( no change )

Barnsley 5 cases ( a increase of 2 from this morning report )

Wakefield 2 cases ( a increase of 1 from this morning )

Sheffield 12 cases ( strange a decrease of 1 from this morning )

Another area North Yorkshire 7 cases reported out of 614,505 population

What point are you actually trying to make with all due respect ?

The reality is we don't know how much the infection has been passed on to other people and from what we know so far from its origins in China it's spread massively rapidly .

Quote me figures in two weeks time and you are looking at figures in terms of thousands in my opinion .

It's real and its taking lives by the thousand , you will know somebody who has lost their life to this virus .

Trust me you will .
