Oh come on Triz, you're better than that.
You have just defended FIFA's stance on the poppy. Remembering it it is a statement of humanity remembrance.
Yet the fine is greater than Argentina's hijacking with a banner, over sovereignty.

As you well know. FIFA has it's own political agendas, when it suits. In particular trying to force competitions into poor countries, even though it causes suffering monetary wise to populations.
Pity it can't clean it's own house out, before preaching to anyone.

Honest to god your post had so many definitions due to the way it was written I had no idea what you meant. I'm no grammar nazi it's just the way you wrote it stripped it of it's meaning.

Ok now I see your meaning, I don't agree that the fine shouldn't be less for the argentines that certainly seems unfair. However your original point was that Fifa should not be fining anyone, so I guess the point should be that Argentina should not have been fined at all.

My only point was that, flawed as Fifa are they are the ruling body and someone has to govern and unfortunately at the minute it is them.

    Your point seems confused.

Also your point that the poppy is ' a statement of "humanity remberence" is entirely your opinion and one that many, me included would disagree with. Hence it being a good idea for a blanket ban on political statements as it causes disputes.

A blanket ban sounds fine. But that isn't the case is it?
Also, add in the hypocrisy of FIFA- Russia/Qatar then enough is said.
I'm sorry Triz, no one can take any ruling by FIFA seriously, following the corruption and continued abuse of power.
The poppy thing is not advertising, more of a public statement.

Until FIFA is squeaky clean about standards. Then it can **** right off

It is a blanket ban, it's just the fines that are different.

So are you saying anyone can act freely in any manner no matter how disgusting as Fifa are dicks?

You see Rattys comment about the illegal invasion of Iraq works both ways.
You see Qatar has been finger pointed as a source of terrorism. So Ratty, do the same rules apply?

Also, does not the Argentinian invasion of the Falklands make their protest, even more repulsive?

So ask yourself the question Triz. Why are the fines so different?

I don't need to, I agree it's unfair. You were the one that said Fifa should not rule over any laws because of that unfairness. I disagree and think anarchy should not be allowed to take over.

I disagree. Unless the law itself, is flawless. Then it has no right trying to impose itself on anyone. The sooner FIFA is disbanded the better.
Blatter set this up to suit himself. He gave autonomy to lesser backward countries in order to keep himself in power. Now that same system, is causing hypocrisy and chaos.
Pamper to it all you like. It has become a snake with many heads.
