Maybe after his last couple of matches, when he disgraced himself, some of the player weren't happy with him keeping someone else out and not putting the effort in.....
Like i said on another thread.....get rid. We are his 18th club, you can read what you want into that.......
P.S. if we keep him on for another year, now were back in the Championship we'd have to increase his money accordingly........get rid again....

He should get a cheer for the goals he scored, but then should he be scoring more than Smith.
During his time with Plymouth and us he has a 1 in 3 goal ratio. Around 50 goals in roughly 150 games.
He won't struggle to for suitors..Question is will we just release him or trigger his extension to get a transfer fee?
Goalscorers don't come cheap and his recent record is decent.
Can see him going to a league one or two club with some ambition of promotion.
