And by the way, I don't rate Dawson either.

I'm willing to take a 25 quid bet that Dawson is back in goal on or before the Luton home game which is 28th March. Any takers? Money to the hospice.

I'd have Dawson back in goal against Mansfield. Better shot stopper & general all round keeper.

Energy and effort - that's all we've ever wanted and today we had it in spades.

Watmore is a class act - has as much time on the ball as Barlaser and rarely puts a foot wrong. Gore is at another level. Keep these two fit and we'll be OK.

If we had won 7-0 it would not have been an injustice. We had four excellent chances in the first half and I lost count of the near misses in the second!

Ted Cann is doing well and his confidence will increase. His distribution is far better than Dawson's and he dealt comfortably with everything thrown at him today. Keep Dawson well away from the starting XI!

Because certain people are being disingenuous and need calling out. At the time of the post there was too much of it. Once praise overridden of two negatives.

We had just witnessed a fantastic team performance, overcome a negative team who resorted to foul cynical tactics, abetted by a novice and inept ref.
Despite all, they kept going. Ok, it is at the moment unrealistic to think we can go though 90 mins as well as the first 20. It is a long time since Matt was able to field a group who could rip apart a team like they did. Did anyone say just how good we were in the first 20? No they did not.
I was really proud of the boys and manager today.

Maybe you should have been calling out what has been constantly written in last few months instead, getting them to tone it down?

No, we get forced acceptance that we did ok, Mansfield will be the real test, etc. comments like he could not wait to go three at the back. Pathetic.
He went 3 at the back for tactical reasons and personnel at the time. Most of us think 3 at the back, think mind you me inc, it could be an issue, but did the change make things worse? NO.

We did brilliant today, it built upon a first half last week. It will keep going, if we can keep the bulk of players playing and regularly.

But some people would rather be disingenuous.

And quite how can you judge shot stopping when he didn’t have a shot to stop in the manner that dawson or keepers often have?

You must be a clairvoyant. Give the lad a chance, he did nothing wrong and his distribution was first class, unlike Dawson.

You didn?t see the times he came off the line then, stop a threat, claim a ball, in a manner unlike dawson who would have stuck in no mans land. Oh, and the good high punched ball clearance over all heads that Dawson would not have got near.

Seriously, you are being biased claiming Cann does something that Dawson all the time and concedes.

Position we are in especially in goal you go with the more proven keeper over a number of games & that's Dawson.

A little bit of an over exaggeration (the not human part).

Ask them to tone down what's been written in the last 2 months? Today was the first time I'd seen us win at NYS since November 8th (I missed the Northampton game). In those 112 days we've P18 W3 D4 L11.

I enjoyed today as much as I did that Lincoln game and I so want MH to succeed but the cold hard facts are is if we don't win 4 of our next 5 we'll be worse off than we were under SE when he was sacked after 38 games last season.

Yes there have been injuries by the boat load but there have also been mistakes and the time for asking for humble pie to be consumed is surely when we are mathematically safe, not after one great performance?

It certainly didn?t appear to be a dirty game to warrant 5 yellows for each team. If Matha?s run had been over the halfway line I?m sure Plymouth would have been down to 10 men. Once a Kettle always a Kettle maybe. Is it still a fine for 5 bookings in a match?

CAM you only have to look at his responses to anyone who disagrees with him or criticises the coach. He’s not interested in debate he’s only interested in arguing the toss.
He asked for the Matt Taylor thread to be closed because he didn’t like the narrative.
People feedback on what they see. It’s been horrendous and people have said so. Today was better and people have said so.
He is trying to be relevant. My money is on him being that poster who used to tell everyone alll the time they were wrong about Stubbs.
Either way several posters don’t/ won’t respond to him.
