We are a dying club and after visiting our town centre today it kind of sets the precedent for the calibre of staff the club can approach.

My biggest concern is that Hamshaw doesn't seem to be able to affect games in the same way some other managers do. Whether that be the way we set up from the outset, or the way he's able to influence games during play, substitutions, etc. In hindsight, recruitment this summer has also done him no favours, which is unbelievable when you consider we brought 13 players in.
That being said, I hope TS doesn't hit the panic button just yet. I don't know what appetite he would have to change the manager, but for me, we stick with MH, at least for now. It was always going to be a "project" this season and never a quick fix, a tough gig for any manager, never mind a rookie like Hamshaw.
Personally, I don't think we're in a position as a football club to attract anyone of sufficient calibre to turn things around sufficiently. At least with MH we have a manager who, I assume, is hungry for success and has a point to prove. Although right now, I appreciate that doesn't count for very much when results are so dire and we're 4th bottom.

Not many clubs have spent money on transfer fees like we have this season. Hall, Keleta and Martha probably cost us close to a million pound so the budget has been decent enough. We signed players up to new contracts who aren't good enough like Kayode, McGukin and Holmes which should have been spent on better players to come in.
You really can?t cope with a different view can you?
You deserve all the stick you get on here. You just want to argue and if that doesn?t work you get abusive
Easy to get abusive on a message board isn?t it?
Keyboard warrior who would **** his pants in real life.
You won?t get anymore responses from me. Crack on with your arguments.
[QUOTE=mygiddypant;40755202]Why do you get so irate? We lost to a goal scored in the last minute of normal time. Perhaps you belong to the school of thought that believes we should go a whole season without conceding a goal
Focus on the issues not the posters, I am not going to enter a slanging match with you so don?t waste your time. These are text messages you cannot have any idea what my feelings or emotions are, so please do not try your wind up tactics on me. I would love to read your views about the position we are in, the way the club is run, the fact that we haven?t got a point away from home and we are looking like a team going down, with very poor leadership at all levels, what do you think about the club?
Not so much better players but fitter players a lot of those players we have signed have got a history of injuries some with bad injuries, lack of playing time over several seasons,it?s all on line so why bloody sign them it?s not like we have got the greatest training facilities in England.Stop signing crocks & hope they come good.
Very comfortable first 45. We played some good one touch football and moved the ball around the park well.
A quick throw caught the defence off guard and add to that poor positioning of Dawson lead to the equaliser...
After that we disappeared.
