Could look back on this as a good result towards the back end of the season. It was important not to lose. And we didn't.
It just shows how well we’ve been playing when you are disappointed with a point.
I’m far from disappointed. They have won their last 2 with new manager syndrome.
I like that we have shown that we can dig in and grind out a result when we have to. That wasn’t pretty to watch but it was effective. It’s good to see we can mix up our style of play to get a result and keep the unbeaten run going.
Good point gained last night. Don’t think we got battered in the second half . Draw a fair result. But we were lucky to finish with eleven on the pitch .
A point away from home against an improving team is a great point, as someone else said, you can't win easily every game.
Wycombe and Sunderland are both slipping up at the moment, whilst we stay unbeaten, well done lads.
Any idea what time Lee Johnson is being sacked today?
Great point last night against a team who are full of confidence at the moment due to them having a new manager.
I was cursing the referee because at one point he was dishing out yellows like they were going out of fashion, but I thought he used his head when Ihiekwe could (and in my opinion SHOULD) have received a second yellow in the second half and just had a few words in his ear. And good thinking by our management team for taking Ihiekwe off just after this to save him from being sent off if he'd committed another foul. Their fans were baying for blood at that point and it was only a matter of time before Icky got his marching orders so overall, common sense was used by all concerned, well done. Charlton were one of the favourites to win this league pre season but they had a disastrous start and it was only the appointment of a new manager which got them off their backsides and playing good football again as we saw last night. So we've got this one out of the way now and at the end of the season we'll most likely look back on this game and say that it was one of our toughest games. I was disappointed with the overall result/performance last night but after sleeping on it I'm now thinking that after all is said and done, it was a damn good away point gained. U.T.M.
From memory, our record unbeaten run is 18 games, circa 1969. The 19th game's highlights were on Sunday dinnertime. A 1-2 defeat at Bury. We didn't even go up that season.
