At the time Ladapo put his transfer request in we were top of the league. So he'd either; 1-been tapped up by someone offering more money, 2- he thought he deserved to be at a higher level or 3- a deeper personal reason that we don't know.

What I'd like to know is, why didn't he go in Jan? I'm sure someone in the know on here will be able to tell us. Was it a case of nobody came in for him at all? Or did we get offers but turned them down because they didn't offer enough?

To be fair he started off ok after the window closed and still scored some good goals, acknowledged the fans etc. But clearly something wasn't right and things began to deteriorate rapidly. It could be a massive coincidence but the last three games where he wasn't even in the squad saw a massive upturn in our performances on the pitch.

Freddie is the most natural striker we have got at the club but unfortunately his contribution in a game is just all about him. However if, as you say, his mother is ill then I can see why he would want to move somewhere nearer home, so I will definitely wish him well both on finding a club nearer home, and on the health of his mother.
I can't for the life of me remember you, or anyone for that matter, making a poor pun on anyone's name but instead of saying you got hounded off why not just stick up for yourself or apologise for what you said? you obviously still look at what we talk about on here so instead of making yourself out to be a victim, then apologise if you think you were in the wrong, or defend yourself and then keep posting, and whatever you may think, we all have the millers best interests at heart. Frog, I drew up a similar lengthy post the other day and it failed before I had chance to post it...doh!

My opinion is he has caused untold damage to the club. He set disarray amongst what was a difficult run in with a transfer request, under performed when given a clean slate to start again and most of all showed his ignorance and arrogance by not being with the team when not picked, unlike Will Grigg.

Unless there is an underlying personal reason for him not to have been with the team for the last few games, then he needs getting rid of asap! Moreover, why should we extend his contract in the hope someone comes along and offers a paltry sum for him? In the meantime we will have been paying half his wage while on loan. His part wage we may have to pay him may not cover what we get in return for him.

He's a player showing a bad attitude and disrespecting his fellow team mates, like I said if it's something else then it will all come out and my post is wrong, however, if it's the latter of him showing pure ignorance then there's no place for him at our club. It's easy for me to say this as it's not my money I'm trying to recoup but, surely even Tony should know we don't need him here if he's really that arrogant in trying to finalise a move away.

According to Steve Miller he states Ladapo’s Mum is I’ll and he wants to be nearer her. Absolutely no complaints over that as it’s family and it always comes before any football. It’s just the way he went about attempting to get out of the club. I’m sure this could have been dealt with more professionally.

I heard Ladapo and his family want to move closer to home (which is Romford). Sunderland came in for him in Jan and was interest was rejected.
