Maybe not all down to him- looks like he had no choice in that decision.

Very nearly became our manager, being on Hardy's shortlist of two when he plumped for Nolan.
Robins should have no trouble getting another job with a another club at least the size of Coventry, he's done a stunning job there.

Incredulous at Coventry’s decision to sack Robins after what he has done for the club over the past 7 years. Pretty sure he will find a new job no problem. Given the bitter memory of our play off defeat at Coventry’s hands wouldn’t it be nice if we renewed our rivalry next season in L1 👌

Robins has done a remarkable job at Coventry, in difficult circumstances, low budgets and needing to rebuild every season when star players left.
Robins deserves better and Coventry deserve someone like Rooney, Lampard or Troy Deeney !
I know Rooney ain't been sacked yet by Plymouth.

Never liked Coventry since the Talbot rebranding fiasco. if anybody other than ourselves was responsible for us missing out on the Premier League in 92, there's a case to be made that it was them... and we all know what happened in 2018 and the fall out from that defeat. I'd like to see them sink back down and for us to take revenge.

Deeney however got his chance in a very poor set of circumstances, nobody would have stood much chance of turning FGR around. He might still turn out to be a very good manager if he hasn't been put off for life from giving it another go.

It would be a shame because he is doing ok at the moment. I wish him the best of luck.

New owners generally do (and understandably) want to bring in their own man, though there's now the very obvious example of Birmingham City to demonstrate just how spectacularly that can backfire if you're overly keen in making a change just to demonstrate you're the one now running the club.

I'm definitely not a fan of Coventry City but have great respect for Mark Robins .
Coventry not a very nice place either, a business rep I used to know, once told me as much and having watched games at Coventry Sphinx, Coventry Copsewood and Coventry United I can quite agree.
Coventry United officials and fans were very welcoming unlike the other two non league clubs.
