I think it shows that if someone carries a knife or gun and they get into a confrontation they are liable to use those weapons maybe in fear for their own safety. I'm talking in general tho not bout the above story.
Agree with greatfire. Under the current climate should have got in their car and drove off.

I believe that what matters are facts and behaviours in our daily life rather than formal gestures that could be seen as controversial in some countries. I will not take the knee but this does not mean at all that I am less committed than others in the fight against racism.
It's not just "taking the knee" though is it?
Some of the players are doing black power salutes.
Officially sanctioned black power salutes in the centre circle before every game, it's just wrong.
I see that some of the formula 1 drivers didn’t take the knee
Hamilton reckons that they don’t understand it.
Or yes they do Lewis
It’s hardly a taxing question
He had the gall to say if they were silent they were racist.
Hamilton has also been lecturing the other drivers and other staff about how they should not wear disposable face masks as they are bad for the environment, yet he flew in for the race on a private plane instead of with the rest of the team.
He's hypocritical and seemingly power mad.
Think he's the richest British sportsman ever as well, yet he's wearing a chain and padlock round his neck making out he's a slave.
Obnoxious IMO.
