Assuming Asbaghi gets the job.
He’s probably known by Khaled as being brilliant at improving young players.
But how far can you go with that if you don’t know other teams in the Championship ???

I’ve said it before - the biggest loss this summer wasn’t the CEO, H/C or the captain.
The biggest loss was Adam Murray - as he provided the continuity - the bedrock of information on other teams and their players.
Without that in-depth knowledge a new manager is very likely to struggle - even though that manager is excellent at building the confidence of young players - that confidence - especially with young players- can soon seep away after a loss.

If the directors don’t appoint an experienced trainer to assist Asbaghi - a trainer who knows the Championship - then there is a real risk the club will fall into an endless loop of failure.

………. The H/C increases the confidence of the players ……. The H/C dosent know the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition …… The team losses …….. Confidence drops ………. The H/C increases the confidence of the players ……….. The H/C dosent know the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition ……… The team losses ………. Confidence drops ……….

IMO - the directors cannot throw a young talented coach to the wolves like that.
I’m fine if it is Asbaghi - but he needs support from someone who knows the Championship inside and out.
