Nice wee article in thier local news
https://www.newsandstar.co.uk/sport/...e-united-1965/
About one of our strongest ever teams (1965-67), the calendar year of 1965 in particular one of the best we've ever had and in the middle you a busy schedule we played the friendly they talk about
Hopefully tomorrow is as decent a game
What a great read, and what a great team.
As a kid who always supported the underdog it was a great time to be a United fan. We were emerging from the shadow of the establishment team and starting to sign some great players.
Never did I imagine we would go on to win major honours, and witnessing a sea of 28,000 Tangerine decked fans at Hampden was something else.
We really are a great club with a fantastic history, we should never forget that. We're the people's club, and we'll be back where we belong pretty soon.

Yeah will be Cudjoe. On that note Middleton needs to have a long hard look at himself and put in the work to become a fitter, sharper and a more bothered looking player or he will be down the leagues quick sharp. Other than being able to kick a ball with good technique now and again he has **** all.
Great read, and the mention of Ian Mitchell brings back special memories for me as he is one of my all time favourite players.
