Its a complete joke. How hard is it for both the PL and UEFA to have clearly stated rules with defined punishments for the (financial) amount that these rules are broken? (e.g if you?re ?2 million over its a fine of ?500k if you?re 2-3 million over it?s a 2 point deduction, etc.)
They clearly dont do this because they want to see which club has broken the rules before they decide the punishment.

PSG & Man City - Both upstart, disruptor clubs, owned by Arab Wealth funds get HUGE fines.
Barca & Man U - Legacy cartel clubs owned by Americans or Europeans get small fines.

Do with that information what you will...

    And no one was banned.
Back in 2014 Red Star Belgrade was banned by UEFA for FFP breach.
And now I read that Chelsea in talks with UEFA for ?settlement?!
Different set of rules for them. If they finish 5th and whoever finishes 6th should get lawyers on board

The UEFA cowards won't ban any of the 'Big brands' because they'll threaten to get more aggressive about the Break away Super League.

It?s the big clubs that wanted PSR in the first place.

    We?re living by them!

    Let them die by them!

Or, if they want to lobby to scrap them altogether, I?ll not complain 😆

Just as long as it?s the same rules for everybody!

The rules were brought in around 2008-09 due to large amounts of debt clubs were accruing.

When the Chelsea players, handed the UCL cup to Abramovich 3 yrs later in 2012, Real Madrid's President contacted the UEFA board and told them Real Madrid were going to leave their competitions to set up their own Champions League if they didn't control these Nuevo Riche clubs and block them from challenging the cartel clubs.

As with everything, it started with the best of intentions, yet, became weaponised by those with power and influence to maintain the status quo.

I concur with your view point.

The fact is we're a stable club, a stable squad and a great manager who is used to making the sum of parts more than their individual worth.

Eddie Howe is absolutely integral to building our success, a man took Bournemouth from the brink of bankruptcy and dropping out of the professional leagues to established Premier League outfit. He's exactly the right man to take us to European and Premier League glory.

He's proven to be a winner, the league cup is a great first step.

The owners and the board are tier 1 operators in their respective fields. We will abide by the rules. Bide our time and in due course we'll have the financial revenue streams via commercial deals, sponsorships etc to facilitate any spending in line with the cartel clubs.

    Eddie Howe with money.
    Now that is frightening.
