    Gillingham Away

A long haul for the Crewe away support, as I know the ground well, having played cricket for the Royal Engineers on top of the hill in Chatham. From the Monument, up there, you can see the Gillingham ground! I assume the Crewe support will be in the temporary stand erected in 2003!.

Gillingham, I have them in the playoffs this season. They underperformed last year, but with Gareth Ainsworth as Manager, (he quickly slid out of Shrewsbury, must have had his crystal ball out!). but if injuries keep Jonny Williams fit and Nevitt up front, they will do ok. I see this as a first real test (never saw the Salford result coming), and being honest would be happy coming away with a point. LB, if he can tweak the side (no major changes please) and hopefully have Louis Moult, to come on for March (after 75 mins, to keep him from injuries), we may even get 3 x points. If we get 2-0 up, we shall survive and I hope for a 2-1 away win and remain top of the block!

League 2 with Artell and Lee Bell leading the pack.

    Safe travel everybody

Good post, keep them coming. Bit of a hint to all (few) regular posters. When we get new posters make them welcome and feel part of CAFC instead of blanking them and ignoring their posts. Responding is not that difficult.

As to our visit to Gillingham lets keep the momentum going. I am going for a full handful. Another win for the Alrx.

I like your optimism, Lord K and Lukcour but even now I just worry that it's all going to a juddering halt. Well, maybe it will, maybe it won't but I can't believe we'll win again. It would be amazing if we did but I'm going for 2-2.

From my limited experience, watching the highlights of the matches, it does seem as though we have attacking midfield players and full backs who are pounding the opposition goals and why we are seeing so many chances on goal now compared with last season when you could not get the midfield past the half way line.

I think we will win again but 2-2 will be a good score as well.

Mike you are absolutely correct about our midfield 3 of Holicek, Lowery, and Tabiner, last season. Tjey were completely useless . Talk about a lack of effort.

Bit of a trek all the way down to Kent. The away following has been huge so far this season building on a big following last season. Admiration for those who make it today. Hope they have a good journey home.🤞

Its a useless board and should be closed down imo..

I have just watched a Gills 20 min highlights on the game and based on the chances, we could and should have won that game. The Players look excellent and in my views, I can see us getting promoted with this squad of players as we look very good on the pitch going forward. We had 3 or 4 great chances to score and may have done on other days.

Injuries of course may make a difference but I see us in the play offs and even top 3 in my humble opinion.

We look very good and no surprise to see us win the first four games.
