Sadly I have to write that Millers fan Darren Jay aged 57 years, has Sadly passed away.
A big mate of my son, & good friend of mine, Darren fought bravely against cancer, going to games up to a few weeks ago.
RIP Darren, God has got one of the best. xx

My Son said the 57th minute applause was excellent.
Son has the privilege of being a pallbearer for Darren at his funeral, Darren's family asked that his old school mates be the pallbearers.
Helena who is Darren's partner was at the game yesterday to see & hear the fans applaud Darren.
