Newcastle United Women have a new, dedicated training home at Cochrane Park, bringing them geographically closer to the men's and academy teams' facilities.

The club has heavily invested in the new base, securing its own dedicated training, medical, and player care spaces. This includes exclusive access to three upgraded grass pitches (maintained by the club's grounds staff), a high-performance gym, and recovery facilities.

The new site also provides staff office space, a player lounge, an analysis room, and a purpose-built kitchen with a dedicated team of chefs.

This move to the impressive Cochrane Park?which underwent a ?5.2 million renovation in 2019?will also allow it to house the Women's Under-21s and Under-16s sides, following the club's transition to a Category One Professional Game Academy this summer.

Grace Williams, Director of Women?s Football, said: "We are really pleased to have secured a new training base at Cochrane Park that gives us the opportunity to create our own elite facilities that we need to continue our progression on and off the pitch.

"This is an exciting step forward for the club and I would like to thank Newcastle University for their support throughout and we are excited to continue working with them."

Great news, when Amanda left it seemed to go a bit quiet on their support but this is really great to see as it shows the investment is continuing across the club.
