Swansea v West Brom (FA Cup Third Round) Sun 11 Jan 14:30
It?s a two week break from league action after the hectic Christmas schedule with an FA Cup tie sandwiched in between for light relief.
It depends how serious we are taking this cup tie but we should be going all out to win as it?s a lucrative revenue stream for the club.
I expect to see the usual changes to give fringe players a chance but for me we should play our strongest side.
After the mauling, foul wise in the New Year?s Day game against West Brom one would hope we get a decent referee this time, not like that last game where West Brom were allowed to foul at will.

West Brom have parted ways with 34 year-old Head-Coach Ryan Mason after seven months, together with Assistant Head Coach Nigel Gibbs (ex-Swans) and First Team Coach Sam Pooley. They suffered their tenth successive away defeat in Monday’s 2-1 loss at Leicester.
Five defeats in the last seven games was too much to bear for the USA owners the Patel family.

According to the Swans Independent forum ticket sales have been slow so far.
I suppose we saw enough of West Brom and their roughhouse tactics last home match.
The thought of maybe fielding a weakened team to give fringe players a chance plus it’s on the box is putting some people off.
For me I expect to see a different West Brom with an interim manager in charge and probably ditching the previous head-coaches tactics for his own ideas after having a week to work with the players.

Defence the downfall for the second match running, balls in the box we cannot handle. The long throw Baggies first goal.
Swans should have won this in normal time the chances we had but we lack a regular goalscorer.
Back to the drawing board and another week on the training field before next Saturdays home match against Brum.
