Good win even though it's likely to be DKD and Cleary's last games for the club .
Well done today .

The stench of disillusionment is once again in the air in my opinion as we face 7th placed Stevenage at Oakwell tomorrow afternoon .
There seems no end in sight to our current predicament as we continue to tread yet more water in league one .
The truth is nobody seems to know how we are going to get ourselves out of this rut and be the club once again that we know we can be .
In the past we've generally found a way to be successful again when we've had a poor time of it but that doesn't appear to be the case at the moment .
Things need to change because the club is losing or has even already lost a fair bit of it's once core support .
We can't go on like this .
Good win even though it's likely to be DKD and Cleary's last games for the club .
Well done today .
Not seen the game but a very good result.
Much needed having 2 natural strikers in the starting X1
For sure we need to average 2 points a game to have a chance of making the playoffs.
Onwards and upwards??
As Animal has said probably the last games DKD and Cleary wear the shirt.
Excellent performance and thoroughly enjoyable apart from the leaking guttering above us which seemed to take pleasure in depositing large dollops of the wet stuff in our direction during a torrential spell of rain in the second half but that could not dampen the spirits of myself and my Grandkids during our after match analysis of what we had witnessed , some great football in the first half , three very good goals and some tenacity when it was required in the second half. Unlike others who think we will will lose our two star men by Monday I think they will both be on the pitch for us on tuesday night , I do accept that there will be some sort of transfer activity with at least one going out and one incoming or maybe even more , we will see . Footnote regarding transfer activity and that is one of our latest signings Banger Banks had a very sound debut and looks like he will provide some much needed support and supply to the striker dept.
Yesterday was a thoroughly enjoyable game, especially the first half.
We played how I am sure we would all love to see every week. Resolute in defence and free flowing in attack. Given Stevenages defensive record and style of play, I envisaged a tough, tight game where chances would be few and far between but that first half we made them look silly at times. It was great to see 2 wingers running at defenders on either side with DKD and McGoldrick floating around the middle. Not many teams at this level would be able to deal with that when they hit their stride.
Special mention to Luca Connell who had a fantastic game. Admittedly, their goal was a gift from him and that will bring in criticism for those that didnt see the full 90 minutes. For those that did see the full match will have seen winning his tackles, spraying the ball with positivity and accuracy and leading like a true captain. He had a shocker on Tuesday against Cardiff but yesterday was a really good way to bounce back.
Now for the interesting last 2 days of the transfer window. I think Cleary will stay as hes only been here 2 minutes and we hold all the cards. Unless a team offers seriously daft money, he will still be here. DKD on the other hand though, I think he could move on. Not that I think he will be demanding a move, as he doesnt seem the type, but I think now is a really good chance for him to get his championship move. Which he thoroughly deserves by the way. His 2 goals yesterday showed his class yet again and any side with a sniff at the playoffs should be looking at him. I guess we can only wait and see.
