Want to watch the players train?

"Details have been finalised for Rotherham United?s Open Training Session and Meet the Players day on Thursday, 9th April 2026 with the club set to open the doors of AESSEAL New York Stadium at 10am."

"Fans will then be invited to remain as the Millers first team take up their seats for a Meet the Players session from 1:15pm, during which supporters young and old can collect autographs and have photos with their favourites from Lee Clark?s side."

I got an email about this and thought it must be a joke!
It typifies how out of touch with reality the club is.
You can stick your training session where the sun don't shine 😡

Don’t we see enough of them as it is? I would have thought they would not want such PR nonsense, could be embarassing.

It's the school holidays. Get down there with your kids/grandkids or they'll end up supporting one of the teams over the M1.

Are they bringing some players in then from another club ,because I would hardly describe what we have to be actually footballers at all, are they having a laugh , it's so bad now that even if winning all the remaining games we would still go down if other teams can win a couple of games , Has for taking the grand kids or kids to see them before they turn to the dark side and support one of the other clubs in the area ..well that will happen anyway, because having seen the dregs that are disguising themselves as footballers at our club they will see for themselves that we are indeed not worth supporting !

Can see this being acutely embarrassing. Something like this should have been done very early on in the season to gain the interest and entertain the younger element fan base. Doubt even our young fans want to turn up!

    It's almost cringeworthy.

Timing does seem a bit odd, maybe the kids are less cynical than the adults.

Two grandsons and granddaughter, fully kitted out had a great time at the sticker swap and meet the players. I told them not to watch the training so they wouldn't pick up bad habits
