.....the Gawthorpe production line and still they fall off the end straight into the Gawthorpe Black Hole. One of the latest ones has just popped out the other side of Pendle Hill and signed for Clitheroe.

I've only seen him once and he was OK, nothing special, he should make a decent NPL midfielder in time. What does alarm me somewhat is that this lad is the second BFC Academy product we've had at Clitheroe this season, while we've also had two other loanees in, one from Fylde and one from Radcliffe Borough, and those two have looked far, far better prospects than our two lads.

How two kids from the National League North can look so much better than two kids from a PL club is beyond me, but then, so are many things happening, or not happening, at BFC at the moment.
