Peter Pawlett (baby) scored for the Buchan huns Peterheid against Bonnyrigg yesterday. A fine way to celebrate the original demo of the 2014 hit reaching #1 in the charts in 1981, when people actually bought 45RPM records.
Wikipedia states: “As of November 2012, "Don't You Want Me" was the 23rd best-selling single in the UK, with 1.55 million copies sold. On 23 March 2014, the song re-entered the UK Singles Chart at number 19 thanks to a social media campaign by fans of Aberdeen Football Club. In 2017 it was reported to be the 43rd most successful single in UK chart history with sales and streams combined.”

It's actually very good. We have Miller, Strachan, Kennedy, McGhee and Ian Donald speaking about him from his time in Aberdeen.Originally posted by Jupiter View PostMost of it will probably be about Man U
I don't think we learn anything new from it, but gives a good account of his entire life and career.
I suppose what we take from it is that we will never have another like him up here again and that we really need to give managers time to build a team.

totally agree 100% vintage.Originally posted by 57vintage View PostGood luck, Baz min. You earned your shottie, and were far from being the worst gaffer we?ve had.
Good luck Barry min, I am sure you will do well, in hindsight maybe been better for you starting off somewhere like that before taking the dons job.
Would not be against Barry coming back years down the road as an experienced manager and getting another shottie.
Far FAR from being our worst thats for sure.
Ah the best loon

Missed this news. He got unacceptable abuse from certain sections after giving us a great spell initially and is a likeable chiel.Originally posted by TheDeeDon View PostBarry Robson is the new Raith Rovers manager.
Decent job for him and wish him all the best
Hope it works out for him.

Can’t say I’ve followed his career but I assume its related to his injuries? Some players are just not the same.Originally posted by TheDeeDon View PostRumours going around that Dundee to take Calvin Ramsey on loan for the rest of the season.
Really hasn't happened for the loon so far.
It’s strange as I’ve not seen any kid who so obviously looked ‘a player’.
And not just in a bonnie to watch way, he was effective too - I just remember him hitting cross after cross for big Ramirez.
