  • I was on Twitter and the club posted a few pictures about Shinnie yesterday, due to him celebrating 600 games.

Anyways, one of the pictures was a board listing the captains of AFC since the club was formed. Some great names rightly take their place on it, but seeing Anthony Stewart, Mark Kerr and Ryhun Jack was sobering!

Looked up how Stewart was getting on and currently warming the bench for Ebbsfleet, who are currently 14 points adrift of the team above them at the bottom of the Conference league in England.

His career has sunk like a stone. From Captain of AFC to bottom of the Conference League.

      • In lieu of anywhere else to put it - Nisbet in latest Scotland squad (nae idea fit for or fa we’re playing)

I like Nisbet but underlines paucity of Scottish forwards given he’s only been newly fit for a few weeks

Still hopefully a boost to the guy that we see the benefit of.

        • Clarke will probably start Che Adams in both games but hopefully Nisbet gets on at some point.

Surprised that he has dropped Shankland and called up Wilson instead.

I appreciate Shankland has been shyte this season but Clarke is usually quite loyal to the guys he has picked in the past.

          • I got off my Arse and bought my season tickets today.

I see they have an option to put your ticket onto your phone now. I don't think that was available last season.

Being an old(ish) git, I opted for physical cards as I don't really use my phone a lot and I don't care if it upsets the top reds amongst us, but I hate paying a charge to pick the things up.

            • If you didn't know. The club have a planning application in to put a big screen in place, in what looks like the bottom section of section Y of the South Stand.

I think it’s at the back/top of the Y. I had seen word elsewhere of possibly some rows being removed.
Although that’s where everyone moves in and out so not sure.

I absolutely loathe the electronic advertising hoarding, still find it distracting at times all these years later.
If this is a just a constant big screen of the match I’m never moving anywhere but the South so as hopefully not to be aware of it.

When I saw the plan I thought it was at the bottom, but I could well be wrong.

I've grown used to the advertising boards around the pitch now. I mean, how did we ever cope without knowing who the clubs official wealth partner and dentists were!!

                  • But who is the club's official chipper and supplier of rowies?

Nothing as important as that announced.
I think there is an official catering partner in Baxter Story.
Taylors are the club official skaffies.

I wouldn't trust the club in matters of great importance such as chippers and rowies.

It has to be the Bluebird on Urquhart Road, for its good, proper chipper food and close proximity to Pittodrie.

                          Get it done Dave/Gunner.

I'm a macaroni pie man, so can't comment on mock chops, but best macaroni pie supper in the city, in my opinion.

Can't wait to see Bluebird Chipper - Official AFC Chipper Supper Partner. up on our big new screen come summer.
