No, that's not correct, because its the run of the mill championship level and below bands who make a living from music and do tours of the EU, including festivals that are being hit hardest.Originally posted by Andy_Faber View PostSplitting hairs I’d say non-premier league bands but in essence yes correct.

That's what I've found Sith, even using a VPN in UK - keep getting a message saying "service not available in your country" - which means that provider doesn't know where you are and so shuts access down. Then when you use normal datastream it does know youre not in UK and shuts access down as well. A lose lose on some services

Each to their own innit. I mean for some unfathomable reason people love watching golf and cricket which is the ultimate in cure for insomnia in my opinion but others love it.Originally posted by Andy_Faber View PostConsidering the current snore fest that is F1 haven’t you accidentally identified a benefit of BREXIT?

Back in the Championship days when between 10 and 12 games a season weren't available here in NL via RamsTV as someone had bought the rights for the Netherlands and, although they weren't showing the game, the contract disallowed DCFC from broadcasting in NL. I have had extensive discourse with both DCFC and the EFL on this. The answer is always the same.... the contract doesn't allow it. Questions on the WHY of it go unanswered. For those games I "spent the day" in Romania. No Romanian company had bought the rights so I could access the coverage.Originally posted by SithHappens View PostWouldn't work. Assume they can detect if you are going via a VPN
If there's a country where F1 isn't broadcast, go there via VPN and you should be OK...

Maybe you misunderstood, I love F1 but find the current dominance of one team/driver a turnoff, so more often than not I currently resort to Indycar/FE/Nascar for my high speed thrillsOriginally posted by SithHappens View PostEach to their own innit. Regardless of Max's current dominance, the start is always interesting as are the first few corners (they aren't turns) as there's often some coming together. The last one was interesting for a few laps as Max wasn't leading. Once he'd got 3 seconds up, though, the result was obvious.
Some interesting scraps behind him though and Lewis dropping to 9th and getting back to 3rd was good to watch as were the failings of Ferrari.
