Seriously though...I know where I stand on Brexit and I know where Swale stands...I even know where MoP stands, although we disagree completely, but I can’t say the same for you or Parky.

As for Swale...I think I am a little more restrained in a forum context but I doubt anyone is better informed about Brexit than him and actually, although it may not be politically correct to say so, those Leavers taken in by Johnson’s lies, Farage’s persona as a ‘man of the people’ and the whole notion that the negotiations would be the ‘easiest ever’ were, imo, pretty thick.

How can my argument change when the situation hasn’t? I wish it had...Brexit is bloody boring...but it is also important and until someone, you even, can show how...
a) Brexit isn’t going to make the people of the UK worse off.
b) Brexit isn’t going to impact negatively upon much needed European unity.
c) Brexiteers represent the ‘voice of the people’.
d) the main political proponents of Brexit are anything other than a bunch of dishonest and self serving elitist hypocrites
...then my arguments will remain, consistently, unaltered.

And of course the supreme irony that we would have had Brexit by now but for a cabal of 34 hard right rich ****s in the Tory party voting against the withdrawal agreement aided and abetted by 10 stubborn bigots stuck back in the 1950's from our colony across the irish sea(who won't stand for NI being treated differently from the rest of the Uk, unless of course it suits their bizarre religious bigoted view in which case its fine!), never has £! billion been spent so unwisely!

Decent? he is an avid opportunist, who threw away any principles he might have had for a chance of power and enthusiastically supported some of the harsher Tory policies of the coalition government. Credible - eh the Post Office privatization farce was one example albeit a bloody big one of how he has no credibility! The blokes a massive ****!

No we don't take you seriously, most of what you post has zero provenance and can be disproved with a quick search on the internet. The internet's a great thing, there's also a lot of material out there on what drives the kind of person who constantly calls individuals or groups names, and ends almost every sentence with an exclamation mark.

Take that point entirely Parky...although I imagine you voting Green where you live had about as much impact as me voting Labour where I live.
I will be voting Liberal in the Euros though...simply because they are the only major(ish) Party who’s policy on Europe is not either bonkers or made up ‘on the hoof’...plus, despite what Basil Swale says (shouts)...I still quite like old Vince.

I almost certainly wont bother voting in the £ 150 million farce known as Euro elections, but if I do, then the monster raving looney party candidate, or nearest equivalent, will be the beneficiary.

Actually the local green didn't do too badly, but it was still a blue sweep in my ward: Greens comfortably outscored the Lib Dem candidate and Labour would have lost their deposit if such rules applied.

Greens now have the second largest number of councillors, albeit a long way behind the Tories, but they have double the number of your sainted LibDems, and 6 more than the Corbynistas.
