That is so full of assumption that it really can't be taken seriously. The one bit you got right is that he is a retired teacher. The rest is pure supposition.

Was he always a teacher or did he have another career first before entering the teaching profession? You don't know, do you? Basically, you have gone off on one based on a very low % of the information needed to make such a comment. Not something that would stand you in good stead in the real world, the competitive world, is it?

I too am a retired teacher. I worked for 43 years. Only the last 12 of those in teaching in a school. 27 years in IT starting as a trainee operator progressing to Management roles in mutltiple departments, up to 80 direct reports and budgets of up to €15M a year. I also owned a training company, giving in house language and communication courses for 3 years. Trade was dropping when I got the chance to go full time at a sports college so I stopped trading. I also coached youth keepers for 10 years and had several years as Assistant Trainer to the senior squad at the same club.

rA may well have a similar backround story to tell but you have unilaterally decided that he doesn't without knowing the facts. I'll let you decide how that makes you look...........

            ‘Service!’ Don’t you start!
Where he got the ‘privileged background’ idea from I have no idea. My biggest privilege was having a decent Mum and Dad...come to think of it, that’s possibly the greatest privilege of all so maybe he’s right...though almost certainly not in the way he meant.

                  • What you have to understand ‘Amster is that this is a typical Angry tactic.
He’s a bit like some - a minority - of those teenagers we used to teach...talks offensive, nonsensical bollux but then, when taken to task, the stock reply becomes...’but I was only joking!’ You’ll doubtless remember the type.

‘I was pulling his chain’ is a much used Angry phrase from way back. I believe it’s popular amongst little cockney gob****es unable to defend their case, which I am apparently able to say with total impunity because of course...I’m only joking.

Fact check. When have I ever called Corbyn a terrorist?

Right I had better prefix this as not a joke post, so you start at the right place.. It will help you.

Fact check, when have I used the ‘much used Angry phrase’ ‘I was pulling his chain’? Would be interesting to see some evidence..
Waits for the I was only joking retort.. Full of ****e more like.
The case has been defended on numerous occasions only for you to completely miss the point every time..

You and your new support group of ex teachers, MA etc.. Perhaps I was right in my stereotypical comment . I guess I was meant to be impressed by his managing a €15 million budget.. Nope not really. I can trump it but it means nothing..

                        Just another victim arnt you..

                        Cockney gob ****e and proud.

                              I have.

Politicians don't behave the way he has, with certain groups.

                              • Many decent people are sympathetic to the Palestinian cause and were sympathetic to the cause of Catholics in Northern Ireland, Tricky.
                                That doesn’t make them ‘terrorists’.
Wow...you’ve produced a very old picture in a right wing publication of Corbyn talking to Gerry Adams...so what?
Blair talked endlessly to the IRA...that’s how the troubles were brought to an end...was he a terrorist too?
