oh well, 41% chance of showers in the morning, dry but cloudy after that. Sounds like good conditions for getting movement through the air.

85 for 7. Still 108 needed to win but only 3 wickets remaining.

118 for 8. Both sides got 387 in their 1st innings. England got 192 in their 2nd. Huge odds against India ending up 192 all out in their 2nd...

Taking this brief opportunity while the forum works for a moment. Brilliant win. Really gutsy, stubborn and determined victory. Great to see Archer back but Stokes was the real bowling hero. Kept me riveted on the long drive to the Gower.

Spoken like a true son of Gloucestershire…and wrong! Very beautiful but, true to form, raining this morning for the first time in weeks.

                Cricket:
Great viewing, both sides battled to the last culminating in a bizarre final wicket. Can't wait for the next instalment.
                The Gower:
Magnificent destination rA, last time we went the weather was baking hot. Ignore Parky, we love Wales both North and south and that's from a Scot!

The best thing about Gower was his cover drive........

Great day at Old Trafford today, coincidentally 61 years to the day after my first visit.
England in almost complete command and the Manchester weather untypically blissful.
Unfortunately the next two days look less settled and that may be all that can save India’s interest in the series.
Well done to Joe Root, nice to share a little bit of history and what a role model he is for young cricketers.

Congrats to Stokes on his century and Fifer, Captain leading from the front.

…and so it goes to the Oval with the series still alive in the land of GP.
Disappointing bowling performance in the end, but well done India who out performed England throughout the last five sessions.
Might be some interesting necessary changes for Thursday.
