    • Looking like Luca is coming back. His versatility will be well received. Given the injury list. We are building a good depth in the squad once we get a few others back. Midfield alone Sibs, Camara, pap, Luca, Eskesen, Sjve. For me another striker and any anyone else after that is a bonus. 🖤🧡

There's a pic of Luca getting put through his paces wearing the new training gear on my utd away bus chat so looks like its deffo happening. A decent signing if it happens but I honestly don't know his best position!?!?

Given the number of injuries at United, I don't think he'll struggle for a starting shirt. He's so versatile and seems to do whatever job he his assigned well.

Be interesting to know where he prefers to play though.

          • would expect he'll replace Strain at RWB, like he did last season

Which would free up Sevelj to return to midfield.

Ye id prefer him there but he mostly played centre mid at the end of last season and he did ok mostly as a ball winner but we have lots of that type of player.

                      • When (if) we get this whole squad fit we are gonna have a really exciting team on our hands. The defence still needs work of course but hopefully it can start to gel and become more solid. But we have some exciting options in the middle to front that we really haven't had for a long time. I can see our games being more high scoring but clean sheets might be harder to come by. Would love one tonight though 🤞

Looking at a lot of potential the signings so far. However this mirrors a similar style of business where we signed promising potential where Sackie and Thompson were including their own percentage from transfers. This never materialised and we got deservedly relegated.

I'd like United to live within their means and become self sufficient. Owners who think they are being clever and ignore the fans, for example, we need a keeper to replace the hologram, no we'll be fine............We need three 30-32 aged players because if we get off to a terrible start where is the experience to pull it back? One at centre-half, midfield and centre forward imo.
Do we need some players in the over 30 category? Mikey Devlin is available, although injury prone could he add that bit of experience in games and on the training ground? Andy Webster was injury prone but 2009/10 he made Kenneth a better defender. We've had some joy over the years with Swedish strikers, Kjell being the standout in my time. He was 30-31 when he signed. Isaac Thelin is 33, could he do a job for us with his experience?

                            • Apparently we?ve rejected a bid for Will Ferry from an unnamed MLS club.

Can not afford to lose him imo!

Agreed. We're supposed to be building a squad.
