I like the recruitment so far. Add Longstaff and Stach and we may be a feisty team that can look after itself, defend with grit and deal with set plays against us. Still got the talent from last season as well so it?s shaping up nicely.

Connor I was crying out do a straight swap for Phillips when Chelsea wanted him instead, we wasted any money we got on has-beens.

Sunderland have spent about 100m on about 6 or 7 players

Burnley have spent close to 65m on about 10 players

We have spent 30m on 5 (if you count the kid from city who is 17)

It?s not only getting the players in but allowing enough time for them to integrate into the squad.
