I didn't say he plays 10. I said plays like one from mid. He's an attacking mid, which eliminates a silly number ten created by some no idea managers that play with 4 attackers and demolish the midfield, which is probably the most influential position on the park.Originally posted by hopelesslyoptimistic View PostHmmmn not sure he has ever played 10 Oz - maybe you misread and thought we?d signed StRAch - he?d be a bit old now tho

Quite possibly. Does mean Messlier will leave shortly. I liked Messlier as a keeper. Has problems with corners though, which is tough in the PL. Leeds have strengthened/changed the spine of the team from goalkeeper, center back, midfield to striker. Excellent.Originally posted by whitestomper45 View PostThink he?s having his medical in Germany, joining the pre season tour?

I?m liking all this transfer in business. Keeper done and if we can get the other 2 Brazilians in we will be great to go. Exciting stuff.
Meslier going is a plus, certainly cost us points last season or two and lost the confidence of our defenders and the crowd.
Joseph can do one. DF gave him enough chances and he just didn?t cut it - now?s he?s behaving like a spoilt kid so good riddance for me. Just need to offload Aaronson now.
Looks like we are going to give the Premiership a good go this time around. Hope everyone feels the same?

100 per cent. Joseph not as good as he thinks he is. He's more interested in his dreadlocks.Originally posted by Pacaman View PostI?m liking all this transfer in business. Keeper done and if we can get the other 2 Brazilians in we will be great to go. Exciting stuff.

It took a while, but things are panning out. Unlike last time, if it doesn't work, we can't say they didn't try.Originally posted by Pacaman View PostI?m liking all this transfer in business. Keeper done and if we can get the other 2 Brazilians in we will be great to go. Exciting stuff.

Lukas Perri highlights last season.
Beautiful shot stopper and reads the game well, doesn't panic, and holds his ground. The only thing I didn't see was that he didn't have many corner high ball highlights and not much of high leap.
He is not dissimilar to the Greek keeper I was spruking up for 10 mil, only difference is the Greek can leap high and can control eg a corner situation.
And then I looked it up, a little worried.
While there's no definitive "cross corner" stat to definitively label a goalkeeper as good or bad at handling crosses, Lucas Perri has shown strong goalkeeping abilities in other areas, including commanding displays and crucial saves. Yahoo Sports says his overall goalkeeping skills, including his handling and reflexes, are rated positively in EA Sports FC 25.
Here's a more detailed look:
Strong Performance:
Yahoo Sports reported that Perri had a commanding display against Nice, making crucial saves and keeping a clean sheet, which led to praise from his coach.
Positives:
Perri's goalkeeping attributes, like handling, reflexes, and positioning, are rated as decent in EA Sports FC 25, suggesting he has the foundational skills for handling crosses, according to the game's player ratings.
Room for Improvement:
Despite his strengths, some areas, like GK Handling, could be improved, which might be relevant to his ability to deal with crosses.
In conclusion, while Perri has shown strong goalkeeping performances, particularly in commanding displays and crucial saves, there might be areas, like handling, that could be improvedLast edited by ozleeds; 24-07-2025, 03:10 PM.
