As usual, say nothing and hide behind silly smilies. So here's my view of why Boris Johnson was ousted:

As in all his other jobs, his constant and habitual lying eventually caught up with him. His popularity rating with the electorate was going down faster than Paul Mullin* in the penalty box. The Tory MPs realised he had now become a loser, and went into self-preservation mode just like they did with Thatcher. They told him he was finished, so he jumped before he was pushed. Now tell me your view.

The establishment got rid of Johnson, to get their puppet Sunak in, but the members voted for Truss, so she was hooked.
Luckily it looks like the Labour party is going eat itself, so we have a chance of Reform 😉

After hearing today's evidence at the Covid enquiry, it might be worth revisiting the original post on this very long thread which said:

I have to say that surprisingly, i am impressed with the leadership provided by Boris and his team in the daily COVID-19 briefings, especially the new Chancellor Rishi Sunak, this guy is a revelation. Prof Chris Whitty, the government's chief medical adviser, and chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance are doing a good job providing the medical & scientific aspects of the virus. I believe they all are being honest, frank and as decisive as they can be facing this dreadful world-changing virus.

In WhatsApp messages from September 2020 disclosed to the Covid inquiry, Simon Case said the former PM "changes strategic direction every day". He added that he was making government "impossible," and "we cannot support him in leading with this approach". "I am at the end of my tether," he wrote, calling other ministers "weak". In a day of explosive evidence, one of Mr Johnson's former aides also said he thought Mr Johnson had questioned why the economy was being destroyed "for people who will die anyway soon".

Way, way premature. Without doubt it's a very complex situation, but I think you should wait and see how this pans out before any praise.

So maybe I can claim foresight rather than hindsight?

Hmmmm Simon Case, Mr Impartial lol, no wonder the Tories have struggled to get anything Tory, done.
This is the top civil servant, who was asked by Boris Johnson to lead an inquiry into the covid Christmas parties, but had to pull out, and resign, because he had been present at them 🤣
I can't think why the knives would be out for Johnson after that.
