Some of my friends won't get the vaccine either which is obviously their choice but does make it difficult until I can get vaccinated which shouldn't be too long hopefully after what he said last night. I'm just tired of people moaning about the lock down, it is what it is, people just need to get on with it and keep their chin up. I hope you and your family keep well though.
Those friends of yours should have black crosses painted on their foreheads and given a handbell to toll whilst shouting "unclean, unclean". I don't want any of them near me and I'm sure others feel the same.

Else just export them to a remote island and leave them together, a sort of "Covid Island", maybe televised so "Es*** Man" can see what happens for himself.

      • I agree OP, that's why everyone must get their vaccine asap as some people won't. If you stay safe though you should be ok, fingers crossed mate.

Those that refuse to be vacinated should be made to wear a big bell around their neck..To warn others that they are unclean..

Definitely! Alternatively they could hang them from their tinfoil hats.

Two articles about fishing, the first on Sunday 3rd and the second a day later on Monday 4th. This is quite possibly the most #PeakDailyExpress thing I've ever seen. How it started. How it's going. https://t.co/VFXT6xYATR

Once everyone has had the opportunity to be vaccinated, entry to shops, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, sports grounds, airports etc should only be allowed on production of a valid vaccination certificate. If you don't want the jab don't have it, that is your right, but don't expect to be allowed to mix with the rest of us.

                  • Crosses on foreheads, hand bells, bells around necks... why not just make it something much more simple & visible - like a yellow star?

Surely a florist shirt should be enough punishment...

                      • Perhaps I’ve got it wrong here but wouldn’t the only ones to be infected after everybody else has been vaccinated be those unvaccinated?

Not necessarily, once the vaccination program is completed the chances are that R would be below 0.1 and so the unvaccinated would be very unlucky to contract the virus, so in effect, they would have considerable protection by default.

Only if the vaccines are 100% effective, which they aren't.

But if the rest of us have been vaccinated it shouldn’t matter if we mix with the unclean surely? - is that not the whole point of being vaccinated in the first place?
