Season ticket collections?

Collected my physical season card this afternoon with no problems. I've also had an email to download the digital version which I'm choosing to ignore.
What could possibly go wrong on Saturday?

Collected mine (5) no problem(ish). And received download e-mail for 4 of them so not sure what the youngest grandson will do .

As always (first match of season) we'll be there early

If you have a digital ticket in Google Wallet, do you scan it like a paper ticket, or touch it on the pad using NFC?

Took me about half of last season to get this right..
Open the ticket from the wallet and touch the top of the phone to the front of the reader (mines iphone though). I was touching the screen where the ticket image was for a while and struggling.

Shambles!

Whole process, once again, has been a complete shambles in my opinion. Having opted by phone for a physical card and having paid that pathetic extra charge of £1.50, I’ve yet to receive my physical card. I phoned the club after sitting in a phone queue number 28, first attempt, then number10 later I was politely informed that as I’d failed to pay a further charge of £2.50 for postage my ticket card was still at the shop! All this despite speaking personally to the very able Grace Scott, our Supporter liaison person, who assured me I would have my card posted. Apparently it’s been posted first class though earlier in the week! Hey but I have my digital card on my phone. Had similar issues plus further payments last season too, £5.00 extra that time! I’m done renewing after this latest farce I’ll go to selected games and watch the rest on tv. I live in Northamptonshire y the way.

I would advise anyone with a card not to download the digital version. There is so much conflicting info coming out of the club shop staff, club website, emails, none of it can be taken for granted. Beware. The poor so and so don?t know what day it is, albeit doing their best.
The notion that if you have both, that you can use either, with a system that isn?t fit for digital purpose and it could handle either makes no sense. Who is going to risk being the first to try (when you don?t need to)

Not downloading the digital ticket, it could be a nightmare with the physical card tomorrow, without trying the digital version.
The club could have let us use last seasons season tickets, like before.

Since they didn’t come through with full amount of cards….some are having to have a single ticket in lieu of…… pathetic.

Just received an email from the club containing a video of how to enter the ground tomorrow through the new card reading system. Anyone with a digital card needs to have a look at it. I can see lots of confused fans outside the ground and staring into their phones tomorrow as kick off approaches. Never a dull moment!
