Just maybe given the finances, there isn’t much money and at this time of year loans is all we are going to get?

We are short on numbers throughout now, so the past demeanours will catch up. Keeping players fit is going to be the majority of our chances to gain points, it is as simple as that. Chucking mud about is not going to help. Once the horse has bolted as they say.

Wiles coming back? They would want too much. It would take investment on the scale he chucked at Taylor and Evans.

Not if it was a loan deal!

Talk going around us, was Ben Wiles coming
        Back to NYS.
Strange, he was a used sub (60 mins) for Huddersfield Town today.
Shouldn't believe everything you hear/read Elk.

I read a reliable source that Nombe was going to Stevenage for a very large sum.

That list will also change with the list of players that become available.

If you gave MH the choice he would have had those players in on the 1st or 2nd of Jan so they could have played today.
I was in the lounge on New Year?s Day with my wife. It was said that along withers not being there neither was Paul Douglas.

In the interview MH said when asked that he would hope to be able to bring players in.

Still I will not tell what I have been told but others know and are starting to say. The information is coming out.

I believe that young Stewart said that the playing budget has been cut to ?4.5m which is on par to what Ronnie Moore had in the championship years ago.

Someone said that MH is being made a scapegoat!
I can just imagine them saying ?well, that?s a decent budget, it?s what Ronnie had in the Championship and he kept em up?. That for me sums up where we are. Numpties in charge of a so called professional outfit. The fact that it was 20 odd years ago would have no baring on these lot.

I don?t think it sinister. Just a naivety beyond belief. As I mention before, when my organisation liaised with the Millers, it was like going back to the 80s. There was no understanding or appreciation of commerce. And by the way, we weren?t trying to sell stuff to them. God knows how ASD lighting has ever made a penny.

Anyway, the time is coming. This charade will have to come to an end sooner or later.

It was said we had signed Ryan One a young centreforward / winger on loan from the Blades, bloke had it on his Facebook page.
Looked the player up, no mention of a loan to another club.

                      We're already used to it.
Every transfer window is like groundhog day.

..........and that folks, is why we are where we are today. You can blame MH as much as you want, but it's not his fault there's no money.

We were always know has a club being run excellent on it's finances, all of a sudden over the last few years we've ran up debt of ?5M/ ?7M. We've only got Nombe as saleable, and thats not going to clear very much.

                        • This transfer window is the most important one we've had for a long time.We must strengthen this depleted small squad we have and it must start this first week, NOT in the last week picking up the scraps. We will see how commited this club is, this week, before we get marooned at the basement. It would be disastrous to get relegated. All this in our centenary year !!!!!!!

It'll take a hell of a lot of trumpet blowing/negotiating skills to persuade someone to come to Rotherham, a town on it's uppers with a football team in the L1 relegation zone and on a 6 game losing streak. Still, footballers are mercenaries so money talks, shame we haven't got any! Maybe the Madsters can club together to raise 100K to pay someone's wages for the next 6 months?

If I was putting any money in (especially ?100k) I?d want a say in were it was going but it appears the current coach/manager doesn?t have that ?privilege? so what chance would any external investors have?

                              • Paul Mullen's season long loan at Wigan terminated and he's back at Wrexham. Could we get him fit to play a role for us?
