Your first 2 sentences M8 read as fact. The rest of the post read as it was your opinion.

I apologise if that is the case, that wasn't my intention. My own story was purely there to say people can walk away if they feel something is right, nothing more. I do not expect MH to slag off RUFC at all, there are ways of getting information out there after a person leaves, obviously not breaking any NDAs. I don't think he will walk away but i do believe he is being set up as a scapegoat and that is sad, if it is correct. I don't personally think he is good enough but he doesn't deserve to be abandoned by RUFC if what a few others say is true.
Overall it is a very sad time and unless something changes I can see us struggling in L2 and nobody coming in to save us.

Every transfer window is like groundhog day.
Groundhog day, that?s a good way of putting it. And no Bill Murray.

I think the worst thing that has happened since July is the incoming of so many injury prone, recovering to fitnness, lack of game time?.only adding to what we already have.

It makes sense that there will be little incoming, unless it is a different type of GD, which is to do the more of the same above.
And that would put the lid on it.

I think we are all like a cat on a hot tin roof, fed up with it all. And I for one cringe at what has been done in 3 seasons.

And points about us not being unattractive caps it all?..not the time players will be staking a future, except for short term money.

We are right to be cross and worried.

I don?t know how much money Bolton have got to spend but they have just signed a C/H for ?100,000.

He can't keep fit anyway so if they or whoever will pay his value don't think he'll be missed as long as we get the 2 right forwards in. One with some height other more a goalscorer.

Well we don?t know the actual price just that it?s a six figure sum but even that I would imagine is over the life of the contract so 2.5 years in this case. If we could offload dunces like Randall and McAtee who cost over a million each I think we could comfortably afford Sam because his value will have dropped even since the summer as his contract runs down and given his injuries. This will don?t forget be the last chance you?ll have to get anything for him so surely a cut price deal is better than none? Of course if you keep him and he helps you stay up that may be worth more than a fee but these are the judgements your management gave to make. I suspect Bolton won?t be the only club in for him, if indeed they are in for him, but either way with the squad you gave you should have more than enough to stay up? I certainly hope so because I don?t want to be taking my granddaughter to watch 2nd division football next year! 😁

                      • Nombe will cost you over a million. A lot of money for a league 1 team. Fit he's good enough for the championship. We won't be cashing in unless stupid money comes in

                        • Why would he go to a team that will still be in league 1 next season?

Still, footballers are mercenaries so money talks, shame we haven't got any! Maybe the Madsters can club together to raise 100K to pay someone's wages for the next 6 months?
I see Donny are managing to sign players. Are we a less attractive proposition than them?
