I think I trust them enough to get a very good idea on what a media outlets general political intentions and biases are. They seem to have picked up quite well on the guardian's recent decline in fact checking. Impossible to eliminate unconscious bias for sure but you can cross reference this and everything else through an attempt to be objective. Not that I haven't been caught out with crap sources before and no doubt will again. What seems to be a defining thing of our age, with politically active elders being generally the worst for it, is a willingness to accept and share news and articles that confirm our world views without enough critical scrutiny.
