I thought the way we piled on the pressure in the final 10 minutes showed a little of what can be done with this depleted squad.

OK, we got no reward and Wimbledon weren't exactly top drawer opposition but I still saw glimmers of hope.

Realistically, if we avoid relegation it has to go down as a successful season.

Decent first half against a lower midtable L1 side. Second half awful, fell apart when they scored, you could see heads drop and belief drain away. Hugill Jekyll and Hyde today, played well first half, different bloke second, what a stupid push for their penalty. Defence has no confidence in Dawson, he should have done better for the first goal. Hamshaw is all about running, his words not mine, we still look awful on set pieces both ends. McWilliams was excellent he will be a big loss. Jules, Rafferty and James are ok in a four, none of them are Hamshaw recruits, in fact 6 of our best players are all Evan?s signings. Gore, Powell, McWilliams, Rafferty, James and Jules they are the ones with better fitness and availability as well. His comments on injuries are awful, not sure if it is arrogance or ignorance but it is foolish to say what he did. Some nice passing in the first half and a few seeds of hope, but we have lost every away game and scored 1 goal that is pretty crap and relegation form. A difficult home game to come, A defeat in that and the pressure will mount. We need to stick with him and hope he gets it right, as another poster says 5th from bottom is a good season for us at the moment. On a positive note young Baptiste did well.

A poor game contested by two poor teams. Relegation beckons if there is no improvement and quick.

I thought we were totally in control , the game was there for the taking ! Then the second half ?. Stupid goal to give away , then the usual collapse in defence , just seam to collapse under pressure cannot keep a lead ?.. why do we sit back when we?re in the lead ?.absolutely gutted !!!! If we cannot take teams like today when are we ever going to win away ?..

MH post match was interesting, not his normal calm self, clearly angry, talking about them repeating mistakes etc etc.

A Spence tap in and Dawson leaving his line for once to claim the cross that led to the corner that led to the pen away from 3 points. The performance wasn't catastrophic and most people would have been happy with a 2-1 win. Fine margins. The knives are well and truly out on Twitter. What a god awful place that is! Hopefully bar one or two who are very entitled to their negative opinions it'll be a bit more level headed on here moving forwards. Stockport will be really tough next week so it might get worse before it gets better! Roll on getting Etete Sheriff and Nombe back so we've people who know where the net is. Holmes and Agbaire too. Those 5 make such a difference to this team.

Caveat - I don’t get to many games, just been to Stevenage and today this season.

Thought first half was ok, we threaded a couple of passes between their fullback and centreback which happens against us and is always a good move in this division to get to the byline. Not loads of threat from them.

Then second half, several passes and first touches went astray, and we were very vulnerable against the break, and don’t look like a team that can scrap our way back to intensity and urgency yet. Last fif****, we had some nice passages of play and looked more dangerous again with some of the subs on.

Best player for me was Gore, improved from a few weeks ago, looked assured and trying to be creative, and can tell he’s got a bit of bite and competitiveness showing too now. Powell I like but not his best game today. Spence looked promising but pulled out of a couple of challenges, possibly his recent injury influencing that. I like Marta too - noticed him and Gore getting frustrated with others not anticipating their play so hope we can get that sorted.

Finally, Hugill - nothing personal but I just cannot see what he brings to the team. He doesn’t rush to get on the end of long balls, he faffs about trying to win free kicks, he doesn’t anticipate, his touch is usually not good. I can’t help but see him as the polar opposite to Alex Revell whose attitude on the pitch I loved, he’d charge from the opposite touchline to challenge for a wayward goal kick. Hugill looks like he doesn’t want to move two yards.

Only seen brief highlights but like I've said costing us now some of the recruitment in the summer especially not getting a big forward in who'd been getting regular games before we signed him who could at least have stepped up to our level. Play Martha up front. McGuckin on the right in place of Kaleta. Douglas centre back. Baptist holding midfielder. 3 at the back 2 wide players 4 in midfield 1 up front. Home games are the best to give younger players a chance.

"Most people would have been happy with a 2-1 win" - too right they would. But it didnt happen!!! Unless you are a Wimbledon fan.

Its time this nonsense stopped. MH is just full of wind. We have gone backwards from last year. It wasnt acceptable that SE used the injuries as an excuse last years and the same applies to MH. He signed this crap, it was a chaotic recruitment with last minute sticky plasters. He extended the contract of players who are NOT up to this level and he clearly has not installed any structure or confidence into the team.

You dont know what you are doing. Turn the light off as you leave.

                            McGuckin is out injured.

Low quality game between 2 poor sides.

We will have to be much much getter to get something against Stockport next week.
