    Any takers?
What have you got against Hamshaw, simple question.

Find out which football teams are leading the pack or at the foot of the table in the League One on BBC Sport

I've said it before on this forum, it feels like we're back in the Championship going away from home and expecting the worst. Except this is L1 and we're playing some really poor teams. Sadly we're one of them right now.

Regarding Hamshaw, I'm not at the point where I want him gone because I still feel we have a squad of players which he could do reasonably well with in this league. We desperately miss Nombe, it's become apparent that losing him was a massive blow. And I want to see more of Spence, Agbaire, Tom Holmes and also see what Josh Benson can bring to the team. Apart from that, I think Martha and Hall will only get better.

The worry is getting and keeping players fit. It goes without saying but that's going to be absolutely pivotal for us this season because if the injuries continue to the extent they are now, we'll go down.

IF the injuries continue to the extent they are now, then someone has to be held accountable.
This is just not bad luck.

So your view on football management is that if you go down to a position that I don't like (15? 17? 19? 6?) then you should be sacked.

Let's suppose you've got the power to sack Hamshaw, who do you bring in to replace him? And how much time do you give him to prove himself?

Went to the game on Saturday and was quite pleased with performance in 1st half, in fact we looked comfy up to their first goal, and then as some have already said, the heads dropped and we couldn't get it together quick enough to avoid falling further behind. Definately a lack of character in the team, lack of a captain figure driving the team to get their heads up and start pressing again.

However, there are some good signs of how MH wants us to play, and for me he needs time to keep working on the young team, bring the injured players back and get some kind of consistent shape and players blending. Hard to avoid that sinking feeling again as soon as McWilliams pulled up. He's a key player imo and it seems to be our key players that are most hit.

It may not work out of course, the injuries may continue, heads may drop further as the losing habit deepens and we may end up staying in the lower places. So be it, give the man time at least whilst there are some positive signs and even if we end up doing down, well, I've experienced that before, and you know what, it didn't kill me. Give it until Xmas at least and then see where we are. IMO. Up the Millers

We had that character in Tom Holmes as exhibited in the Exeter game. I know Derby Miller will disagree, but it was just our "luck" that he did his MCL in that late tackle. It's just the way it's going for us lately but it will even out. Pocket the optimist told me it will

The table is a measure of success - the output of all the things MH has done including recruitment, training, tactics, etc etc. At the present time that measure is indicating none of these things have been done well. And, as far as I am concerned, there are no positive signs. So why should be get more time? He is risking the future of this club.

However, I will listen to what you have got to offer. What, in your opinion, has he done well? And what warrants his stay of execution?

Those questions are all valid in the circumstances.

For most of last season the table was a measure of success of the output of all the things SE had done including recruitment, training, tactics, etc etc. That measure indicated none of those things had been done well. And, as far as I was concerned, there were no positive signs. So why should he have got as much time as did? He was risking the future of the club.

Just out of interest, as somebody who defended Evans until the day he was sacked despite us seemingly sleepwalking towards the relegation zone, in your opinion, what did he do well? And what warranted his stay lasting as long as it did? and what's so different that he deserved a chance and MH doesn't?

                        Is a fair challenge.

Many of here called for Evans to go earlier than he did. I didn’t for two reason.

                        1) Evans previous with us had built a level of capital that made me think he would turn it around.

                        2) I knew because of TSs reputation, we would not be able to attract anyone decent.

I was right on the latter.

We are now left with a man who is clearly inept. I’ll ask again, what signs of improvement warrant continuing with this disastrous period? Just get Revell. A man who is making a silk purse out of a sows ear - something TS obviously wants. It’s going to happen anyway so make it now

I think another relegation will be a disaster, it might not kill us as fans but it could kill the club. This is our centenary year for gods sake and we have fans thinking relegation is fine, I am gobsmacked. I don't agree with NWC that MH should go, I do think he needs help, he needs help in sorting out the injuries (a lot of clubs use external consultants to do this) i think he needs help from the squad in stepping up on match day, he needs help from the board in terms of verbal backing and leading the club through the current issues not just sitting back waiting to blame the manager. A simple thing would be to sort out Powells contract and not wait until he has mentally decided to leave on a free. I think he needs some help from experienced senior managers in terms of advice, guidance and mentoring. He is a new manager and it shows, he is getting frustrated with his players and is verbalising that outside of the dressing room (that never ends well), he hasn't even dealt with set pieces we look awful. A simple thing to show he sees what we see is to rotate his keepers, make them fight for the shirt. I remember when Warne did that the last time we went up and it helped us get a bag full of clean sheets from Vickers and then when Viktor got back in, he couldn't be knocked out of that shirt. We are struggling, the players are struggling and he is struggling, the club does need leadership on the pitch and in the boardroom to help our new manager.

He also needs help/ patience from the fans.
