We keep repeating what we do so with a name like Parrot and the fact his team are top of their league, surely it is a no brainer.
Top of Ligue 1, why would anyone want to leave?

God help us - Port Vale could not wait to get rid! I would not touch Morrison with a barge pole either!

Carsley or Gerrard for me. I would take Carrick, Ole or Bilic.
Gerard could be good with lots of experience and know how. Would also take OGS or Bilic but Carsley reminds me of Mason in many ways so a big No!

I guess two elements that might attract will be that, firstly, thin as this squad is and despite our position in the table, this group of players have demonstrated that they can perform just as well, if not better, than most of the teams in the Championship and , secondly, that come the summer transfer window, with several high earners off the books, there will be a bit more money available for a rebuild.
Indeed there are some attractions Omeg buddy. However, is Nestor still planning to insist on his game plan and relying on candidates fitting the according algorithm?

I believe the new guy should be allowed to assess the squad and play to his own interpretation of their skills. NOT be constrained by a blueprint, which I fear was part of Mason?s demise.

Why is that Al? They couldnt look any different 😆

The football his under 21s played in 2023 was sensational. He is a very interesting coach despite being an uninspiring footballer.

Uninspiring being the key word. Rather go for an inspiring player who has ideally championship experience. Whoever comes in should clear out Abella, Morrison and Myhill. See the link on the other thread Matt where the away supporters who spend a fortune were chanting for Mason to go. Those who spend a fortune should have their voices heard more than anyone. I am sure Shilen was aware of that and the embarrassingly low numbers that went.

Corberan would keep us in the Championship and may even get us into the top six. However his brand of football would not get us to the top table which must be the ultimate desire of Patel.

Yeah, I'd be on board with Carsley or Gerrard.

I don't think I'd take Carrick or Bilic, I'd be 50/50 on Ole.

I would be very open to a lower league manager like the Lincoln or Stockport manager, if we can afford the fee for them.

Carsley seems a decent fit to me.
Albeit I’ve just read that he fits Nestor’s -data lead search- !!! mmmmm

I sat next to his wife when he was playing for Man U as a friend who works got the club gave me comp tickets in their players and family section. She was very polite and had a nice smile

Albion are interested in Minnesota United boss Eric Ramsay as a candidate to succeed Ryan Mason at The Hawthorns, it is understood.
Ramsay, 34, is admired by owners Bilkul and was a strong candidate to land The Hawthorns role during the Baggies' search for a new boss last summer.

As reported by the Express & Star last summer, it is believed Ramsay was in Albion's final two candidates, alongside Mason, for the post.

Sounds very untried without championship experience, the same age as Mason and even looks like him a bit.
