Thread: Goodbye Cedwyn Scott

  1. #1

Where is Cedwyn? / Scott joins Carlisle Utd.

Does anyone have any info as to what has happened to Scott? - He seemed to be back and scoring a goal or two and has now gone missing again. I have?nt heard about any injury and SM not mentioned his so where is he?

Out of those I would keep Brown and Morias until we have added to someone to our strikeforce other than a loanee. An injury to McGoldrick and/or Jatta and we are in big trouble.
I am sure there is a player in there somewhere with Brown but no-one seems to know how to find it.

And we can't afford to wait till we find it, hopefully he'll be sent back, we need strikers who can actually look like there going to score

Before we start stickinmg the knives in, please be respectful and remember he was out for metal health issues a couple of month back. Ever though there may still be issues that are lingering? Have a heart for the guy who scored the penalty that got us back here.

If he is, then we'll be giving away a very good goal scorer who would actually operate at his best in the formation we've playing in the past couple of weeks, with a proper front two and Dan Crowley sitting behind. Even allowing for the lengthy injury, bad memories and the general ignorance of the football fan mentality, it amazes me how quickly people forget what a threat Scott was for us in the promotion season, and his goal record at Gateshead. If Jatta or McGoldrick got injured and Scott got the chance for a run of games, bringing his match fitness back to optimum, I've got no doubts he would get goals. The one he scored when only half-fit against Leicester U21s showed what a class finisher he is.

I can't believe that Maynard would think Martin / Brown can bring more to the party than Scott.

Perhaps he came back as a favour whilst McGoldrick was struggling or perhaps his mental health issues were family related and the club have agreed to let him spend time with them.

I'd be disappointed if he left on loan or permanent in January.

He has mentioned him, said he was fit and it was tactical he missed out against Bradford.
Someone mentioned he had a bust up behind the scenes a couple of days ago?
I think the writings on the wall tbh and we?ll see him leave Jan, if he can?t make the bench as the only other No9 at the club it tells you something.
