You are right QLD out of Woody's selected 3 I only saw King Kenny and he was past his best. All great players undoubtedly but always difficult to compare different eras as the game back then was so different to today's game.

But that doesn't mean the game hasn't moved on hugely, a great example is physiotherapy. One of the best teams in Europe and best in the UK didn't have a qualified physio throughout in the 60/70s. In each case it was the duty of the assistant manager none of whom at a medical diploma of any sort!!

That's mind-blowing at any professional level let along the elite level in the sport.

The game is unrecognisable since those bucket and sponge (only) days. Players play longer as a result, and are far better athletes. A few of them nowadays can play a bit too

I still can't get over the fact there are only used to be one sub back then!
