After watching the highlights, I see this should have finished about 3-3!!.
(is it ok to put the highlights up on here ?)
Victor should have wrapped it up for us, he pulled that badly wide. But I admit we got more than a bit lucky at the back.

Can't disagree with those saying we have swam even more against the tide than ordinarily in this division. It does seem to conspire against us, but given the shortcomings I guess I would say that. Not excuses but really valid reasons. If we are within touching distance by the time we get Ogbene etc back, hopefully got a new LB in Jan and others perhaps then I do feel we can and will survive. I suppose that is the biggest 'if' at the moment. Can we stay in touch?

We have the crux of a championship team but it's the peripherys where we are falling down in my opinion. We desperately need width in our game to stretch teams and get better angled crosses etc as lumping it down the middle is so easy to defend. We know we need a LB to be a steady presence and to allow Wiles to go back in the middle where he is best. Smudge is proving that he can score goals with the right service and Ladapo will too. That's the biggest issue for me, the positions we cross from etc, just far too deep and they are hopeful punts rather than whipped balls across. Last night smudge got to the byline and cut it back, caused problems and Hirst tried the spectacular. We must find a way to get in behind with natural width. We all know defenders hate running backwards and defending the six yard line...

Keep the faith, we can do it!

So you think we have got the players in midfield who can cope with an energetic press? Dream on.

He's had so many issues go against him this season and he's been swimming against the tide for a long time now.

A lengthy injury list and never being able to put out a settled squad
Players clearly still affected with personal issues
LTI,s involving two of our most influential players this season in SMac and Oggy
He's had to self isolate and miss games and training sessions
    Covid within his own family
His marquee signing in Hirst has turned out to be ineffective and remember that most of us endorsed this signing
    This covid outbreak
EFL allowing points to be gifted back to a relegation rival
EFL singling us out with our own special playing circumstances
Lapses in concentration and bad luck in overtime with us shipping hard earned points
Questionable refereeing decisions and assessments of reasonable time to add on at the end of a game
    There's probably more

There's a transfer window about to open, players are starting to come back from injury and we,ve played than less than half of our games.
The least we can do is Give the lad a chance to turn it around. No point with the sustained criticism, it won't help us accumulate some points and will erode confidence at the club. The criticism from a month or so ago seeped its way to the players and management team and clearly affected Warney

There was an article in the Yorkshire Post recently, or it may have been the Star, where Neil Warnock says he fully endorses PW as our long term solution. He even went as far as advising Tony on the golf course not to do anything rash. So for the master tacticians on here there is an endorsement from one of the greatest Managers and tacticians we have witnessed in that PW is the right man for us.
    Well said flour

Yes I do think we have the players that can deal with it and that is where the problems lay because we have a manager who dos not think we have.

Mowatt on the ball, Woodrow makes a semi decent run which isnt blocked, straight ball kills us and he scores easily. Second goal styles gets all the space in the world down our right after a really ill timed turnover by Wiles, he passes to Mowatt and a quality finish. Basically their best 3 players made the difference and we allowed it through mistakes. Small margins as we had nowt else to really worry us all game. Pleasantly surprised that we didnt look fatigued particularly and, whilst we huffed and puffed, they were comfortable. Wiles does great work down the left considering he is very unnatural there but still runs down blind alleys, dont blame him for that because its just not his position, as hard as he tries. Hirst and Flo back in Jan for me and see who else we can get. Vass runs hard and puts pressure on but never looks dangerous, that extra few percent of quality unfortunately lacking
But couldn't you spot that it was lost in the dressing room? Or that Warney made his usual catastrophic substitutions? Or that the tactics were, at best, pub car park?

You've got a lot to learn!

So with all the problems you state above you think it is a good idea for the manager to then go out and tell everyone how good the other team we are about to play is? I guess you think thats a good way of building your players up then?
