However I think it's fair to say the consortium are looking to leave because I've never known ESR not be right when he's revealed things on the forum .
What's more they haven't been hounded out they are selling the club and that's their decision alone .
The ownership of the stadium and surrounding land appears to be the catalyst for this decision and clearly that was central to their plans .
It looks like they've accepted the fact they won't ever own the job lot 100% .
I do also believe leaving the European Union is a factor because it's now more difficult to do business in the EU and is a key market for them here with player recruitment .
They can trade to their hearts content with the other clubs they own within the EU and there's some kind of strategy that links this multi club philosophy that possibly doesn't quite fit here post brexit .
I take the point Pass made about ourselves sitting one league away from the richest on the planet and a key to increasing the clubs value for the consortium .
I don't personally believe myself that is the reason they bought the club although I wouldn't think they'd turn their noses up either , if it happened fine if it doesn't then so what .
There was something I heard but I can't for the life remember where I heard it but I know it was Dane Murphy who said it , may have been a podcast I heard .
He said that the consortium believe the tv deals will increase massively in the years to come which will make all their clubs especially ours more valuable so just as long as they are run under a self sufficiency system they consortium could be looking at profits of several millions of pounds without doing anything financially themselves .
Whether that happens is debatable of course .
