No-one is waving a white piece of paper. The amount of universal condemnation thus far has been pretty well unanimous and is squeezing Russia and Russians into an uncomfortable space.

But even so what would you have the western powers do? As Sid said
The first strike in a nuclear conflict is believed by most seasoned diplomats and leaders to come from - ultimately - the losing side. The second reactive strike will be final.
The west could no doubt stop Russia in it's tracks, have a turkey shoot at the convoys, take down any Russian aircraft and even advance in to Russia. How mad is Putin? Would he press the button? How much are you prepared to risk? I've asked myself that question the last few days. Would his own people stop him first? Or would the generals be grouped around Putin with their vodka shouting "vashe zdorovie" as the button is pressed?

Be clear that Russia will not be allowed to walk into NATO space unchallenged. The world is aware he's a bully, that Russia is a bear and that is why Eastern countries have clamoured to join NATO.

Time for some clarity from you and less name calling. Stand up and be counted. Your plan please.
