The fact that NYS was chosen as a venue says something about its size, about its facilities, about the atmosphere that can be created in a small(ish) family venue, and about the hospitality. These are encouraging factors, as is the focus on our manager when chosen for a series of national broadcasts.

There is much that we would like to be better about Rotherham (town and football club), but a bit of optimism wouldn't go amiss.
    I agree on that

So why give detractors some ammunition by fiddling the attendance figures?

    Tell it as it is

Do you have a link to the fiddling or is it personal opinion?

It's on the TV, I've got a season ticket for the same ground, and I've got two functioning eyes.

The attendance figures are " pure Booth"

Then we wonder why the massives laugh at us

I'm not sure why when attendance at every major sporting event is reported as 'tickets sold' and not 'bums on seats'

That’s my point, these are modern stadiums that log every ticket scanned at the turnstiles

Total attendance is a click of the mouse

Should there be a disaster of some kind, would they be looking for 2000 imaginary people?

Clutching at straws just to try and make a point about women's football? I doubt if emergency services ever worry about whether there's 68,000 or 70,000 in Old Trafford but probably would if there were 80,000. Ticket sales is the de-facto measure in an all-seater age where 1 ticket = 1 person = 1 seat.

Next you'll be having a go at the met. office over fiddling the temperatures they publish for your heat wave as no doubt if it reaches 40C it'll actually be nearer 45-50C in your back garden as they always measure in the shade under strictly controlled conditions.

He'd only have a go if it was the BBC weather forecast, read out by a black lesbian with one leg who was only there to maintain the Beeb's warped attempt at equality of opportunity when everyone knows that only straight white men can do any job properly, including giving birth.

That’s the thing about this board, well thought out replies

When the insults start it’s the sign that an argument has been lost.

    Goodnight folks
