Out of curiosity Roots, what has changed over the last few weeks?
Lots of good coaching and confidence have helped no end, but probably the arrival of Kacper Lopata from Sheffield Utd has been the game changing factor. We should have had no right to pick up such a talented youngster, but sometimes good things happen. He has been the driving force in the centre of our defence which has enabled the rest of the team to thrive. Rock solid defence and decent mids creates the spine from which we improved. We are still very much a work in progress, but if we keep on winning, who knows where it will lead.

You still under a transfer embargo? What's (was) the reason behind it?

We are under embargos more often than we're not!! A High Court winding up petition is due for the 9th of November 22 for which we believe slippery Ron Martin, our chairman, has a cunning plan and the dosh, to wriggle out of again. Current score is SUFC 10 - HMRC 0. When he coughs up, the current embargo should be lifted. The fact that we are making progress on the playing front is a testimony to our coaching and back room staff including John Still and Stan Collymore. Off topic, but now you know.

Too tight to call for this one I think. Maher will offer praise if you play well, win or lose.

We need to put last weeks draw to bed, this is unbelievably tricky but I trust the boys have enough to gain all 3 points....
