Hear, hear. During my lifetime, whilst I've been old enough to take any interest in politics, I've never seen such an openly corrupt and incompetent group of loathsome, self-serving crooks. This is essentially since the Brexit vote which brought all the right-wing loonies to the fore. Boris Johnson is a stain on democracy who's personally responsible for the dire state of politics at the moment. In my opinion, of course.

Brexit will be seen by future historians as the start of the UK's downward path. Each day it becomes more apparent that it was a dreadful error and certainly never yielded the £375 million a week for the NHS that the charlatan in chief Boris Johnson promised.

It's also not yielded all those fantastic trade agreements he promised, and it's not stopped illegal immigrants arriving on our shores.

Can anyone tell me the positives of Brexit?

Other than our newfound ability to change the position of the escape signs in the iDartford tunnel, which is of course a huge benefit, I'm struggling 😅.

My fear is the full misery of Brexit has only just started...

Don't forget we can now get navy blue passports instead of burgundy passports.

Isn't it great taking control of our own destiny?

Well at least so far it hasn't all turned out to be an unmitigated disaster based on lies. Oh hang on...

Yes, as somebody who voted remain, I can, on the assumption we don't re-join before 2030.

Western civilisation as we know it is going to collapse, it's a matter of when, not if. There's less chance post-Brexit (however small) that the UK and the EU will descend into chaos and embark on the process of restoring order at the exact same time using the same blueprint, which means one will serve as a warning to the other as to what happens when you embrace extreme measures as the solution.

Given the history of the UK and that of Europe, it's more likely going to be Europe that ends up resembling a 21st century version of Nazi Germany or Communist Russia than we do and on that basis I'd anticipate that we'll eventually look back on Brexit as the first step to a very lucky escape from the most disturbing event of our age.

Greater and darker forces may of course ensure that all countries fall into line simultaneously regardless of an alliance or lack of.

But back then we fought against Nazi Germany and their allies, and won because us and our allies were stronger. If were planning to take on Europe this time, we won't have any allies because we've binned them all through Brexit. Still, at least we've taken control of our own destiny.

I wait for the day when we next have a Tory Minister on TV saying that we are a democracy and we voted for Brexit why they are not challenged and say the Vote was based on lies , pure and simple !! (as that x-factor group once sang about !!)
and ask them to do a detailed document where that 350 million a week has been spent
    just a thought !
