    Appreciate the comments rod.
We’re trying to get Rathnone tied down to a new contract. Victor we will lose at some point I fear.

Not sure on Chieo's penalty claim, definitely a foul but it started out side the box. But the one on Hugill, jeez it was almost GBH. Some on here not convinced by Hugill but i think he is a very good signing. His hold up play is very good a times. I know he hasn't scored yet but after he gets one hopefully he can go on a run.

This is from a Sunderland forum and it made me chuckle with the backhanded compliment.

"Hugill is the first striker that's bullied Batth and Ballard this season, that coupled with the fact he's a ****house... I think he'd do a job for us given our, service into the box."

Perhaps the next stage will be that all matches are refereed remotely without any officials on the pitch and that doesn't bear thinking about.
Scary isn’t it and these are the best referees.

If they had it last night their lad who elbowed hugill would have been analysed along with the penalty not giving for a clear foul on Ogbene in front of the linesman would have been looked at.

One other thing wrong with Var, it takes that long to decide a incident, we could
find ourselves missing transport home on night matches.

Of you're referring to attention seekers like Idiot and Wendy I'm with you but not sure who else there is. I'm referring to general reactions really but just an observation, prob nowt in it

Just need to get 5 players like Chio and Fosu then Erik's lad. That leaves 5 players free to score loads

I don’t think the officials got the disallowed goal 100% correct though
It was a clear foul but actually an horrendous challenge from the Sunderland player
Straight red card. No doubt at all.

Our players should be remonstrating with the ref when incidents like that happen because other clubs do it.
It would have stopped Sunderland s momentum in OT too

Straight red for the forearm smash on Hugill too
Yellow card for pulling back Chieo

…and other teams brand us as physical. That lot last night were a bunch of thugs

Don't think its been mentioned, but

The Millers ended Sunderland's 8 match unbeaten away run.

ELK, didn't know that until we were talking to Les Payne later. Not a bad run that, especially in the Championship.

Not sure that Sunderland will quite make it this season but could be a real power after the next window. Hope we play them next season....utm.
