Is there anybody here willing to say that they would have been shocked had the owners parted company with Maynard at the end of the season and would have logged onto MAD to question the owners sanity?

Let's say you were all put in a position where you had to give Maynard a new revised contract and he would accept it, regardless. You can pick any length of time, but it has to be at least 3 months (to the last week of September).
Is there anybody here willing to do an Alan Hardy and say they would extend Maynard's contract to 6 years if they could. How much confidence do people really have in Maynard? I'd be interested to know. How long would you be prepared to commit to him?

I wouldn't go beyond this September, I'd want to see his early season results before changing my mind.
