Compare the team to end of last season. It's worse.
Even IF we bring a couple of good players in it is already a bit late for preseason planning.

If we can properly replace Bamford with someone who can reliably score when needed that would be a big step forward.

Olise has left Palace for a reported 60m to that should start the bidding for Summerville.

Suspect not much will happen until after the Euros as the teams with the deepest pockets are likely to be watching that to see if they should change their plans.

Definitely looking like we are ‘cleaning house’ and clearing out players not needed/wanted.

I've rethought my comment above.

The sad reality is that never has the championship had 4 good sides competing for promotion. Leeds, Leicester and Southampton had leftover Prem squads with good sized payrolls. Ipswich had a miracle year and won the games they were supposed to.

Might not ever happen again that way so it's a little harsh to say we bottled it. However, not harsh to say that with a little squad rotation we could have been there.

I don't understand it at all. I do understand it might just be clickbait but I've seem some rather specific stories on Summerville, Gnonto (Italy), Rutter (Brighton), Kamara (Rennes). It's not like we are destitute or owned by Bates anymore. None of these listed are replaceable by who we have in the current squad.

No one seems interested in Bamford or Piroe which would have been 2 I wouldn't have minded going
