Another baffling transfer window so far. We have got rid or / lost 13 and, as far as I can tell, we have only signed Rodon who we had on loan anyway, another goalkeeper, a 14 year-old and someone in the backroom staff.

I don't understand it at all. I do understand it might just be clickbait but I've seem some rather specific stories on Summerville, Gnonto (Italy), Rutter (Brighton), Kamara (Rennes). It's not like we are destitute or owned by Bates anymore. None of these listed are replaceable by who we have in the current squad.

No one seems interested in Bamford or Piroe which would have been 2 I wouldn't have minded going

We sold Gray to service some of the transfer deal payments required by the end of June/July, nothing to do with PSR (Thanks for the figurework MT). The management haven't the remotest idea as to how to manage the clubs cashflow demands, despite them being known well in advance and any Finance director worth their money would have known what was required before the opening of the Winter transfer window.

They have launched the much anticipated fire sale in order to shrink the paybill as much as possible, knowing that the return of the likes of Aaronsson, Kristensen, Wober etc etc would have a serious impact on the clubs ability to actually pay its way.

The stories swirling around Summerville, Gnonto, Rutter, Meslier, Kamara and most recently Struijk might well be largely clickbait, but we all know that the first two of that clan were keen to depart when we were relegated and I suspect would still like to depart if the price (personal terms to the player, nothing to do with what LUFC wants) was right, so the departures will continue (in fact my original estimate of numbers leaving was under by some margin!).

And the lack of interest in Bamford and Piroe, the last 5 words of your last sentence says it all.

Other than a complete takeover by red bull ( who do have football experience) and the sacking of Farke ( who if he had been gone at Christmas, we’d be up now), we are doomed ah tell ye, doomed!

Seems little point getting upset at the start of the window - just need to wait to see how it pans out.

No excuses given the outgoings and the club statements. Things should start moving after the Euros.
