    It always is.

Where do you want to start? Lee Rigby? The 3 gay men in Reading? All were subject to facts black outs and even when done in the name of Islam, not put down as terror related.
The Manchester airport farce is a disgrace. The usual MP's and activists screamed racism/ police brutality, until a newspaper released anothe video, showing the horrific violence issued out, by those poor ethnics. Even now they aren't telling the whole story. There are 2 other incidents yet to be discussed. THE MGP, weren't even going to persue this, apart from prosecute the copper, until the outrage has forced them to,

Greater Manchester Police is investigating and appealing for witnesses in relation to three incidents that occurred on the evening of Tuesday 23rd July 2024 in Manchester Airport Terminal 2.

Witnesses are asked to upload information, images, or footage to the Public Portal: https://mipp.police.uk/operation/06GMP23S59-PO1

The first incident is an altercation between passengers from Qatar Airways flight QR023, which arrived at 7.20pm. The altercation may have taken place during the flight or afterwards in the T2 baggage hall.

The second incident is a violent altercation involving members of the public in T2 Starbucks at approximately 8.22pm.

The third incident is the assault of three police officers which occurred in the T2 car park pay point area at 8.28pm. This resulted in the three officers receiving head injuries, including a broken nose.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is independently investigating the use of force by GMP officers that directly followed these events and is shown within the footage on social media.

I’m a million miles from GP’s apparent level of wealth, but our level of income really never warranted us receiving such a benefit at a time when there were/are people experiencing real poverty.

Hope those who are, for geographical reasons, dependent on oil for heating are not forgotten at the time of the next oil crisis which will, in all probability and according to the largely contrived rules of ‘supply and demand’, be next winter.

Oh look…our Nottingham correspondent is trying to stir up the racism issue again! What a surprise…NF’s agent TTR.
Fact is Tricky…the original perpetrators appear to have behaved abysmally. Doesn’t matter what colour or creed they are…their behaviour was wholly unacceptable and I’ve got no sympathy at all, but that will NEVER justify a police officer - an agent of law enforcement - kicking someone who was already restrained in the head.

The amount was illustrative as opposed to a personal income indication.....

No sunshine it doesn't on paper. Professional standards and all that. Yet he wasn't restrained was he? He had laid out 2 pathetic women coppers and assaulted the copper from behind who tasered him. He was still a loose cannon and the coppers red mist kicked in to make sure he didn't get up.

So please, explain to me, after the original video was released, that made the copper look like a thug and all the left Mp's and racial activists came out screaming racism to hang/draw and quarter him?
Then, (via a newspaper) a video showing it from a different angle comes out, showing these two to be the vicious thugs they are.
Actually, its people like you who are the problem RA. Scared to call out foul play what it happens, in case it upsets a few folks.
Because they were muslim, everyone assumed it was the police at fault, yet (and there is more to come) actually shows the police have shown great restraint here. Any other airport would have shot them.

Just for you as well, seeing as you have never been in a situation, so frightening. So pumped up and dangerous, his reaction was completely natural. he and his collegues were fighting for their lives and lucky not to have lost a firearm to one of them. you really are pathetic at times. It isn't a school figh, where detention and lines are the order of the day.
Grow up and accept that folks that start serious trouble can expect serious retribution.
Then to go on tv claiming they were the victims was laughable.

But the race card, is as good as a get out of jail card.
The government and ther police are **** scared of it as well.

I’d beg to differ on that rA, IMO when a male punches a female in the face (almost) all bets are off.

He only made the mistake of doing it in public view, a Gene Hunt style kicking in the back of the van would have been more appropriate.

I said when the video first surfaced that it was too soon to pass judgment. Without knowing what went on prior to the kick in the head there was no context to what happened.

Most people will now have sympathy for the officer concerned but, unfortunately for him, police have rules to follow as well as the Law and it's very likely he won't be a police officer much longer. Not because of outrage by MPs. Not because of faux outrage from left wing organisations and others. Simply because he broke the rules he was sworn to uphold.

My thoughts, unaffected by emotion either way. Quite simply, them's the rules and this officer is likely to fall foul of them. I'd like him to get a reprimand, an anger management course and then back on the job.

Those who started the altercation should get charged, tried and suitably sentenced if found guilty of assault, assaulting a police officer in the course of his duty, causing serious bodily harm or even GBH.

Exactly. Brings to mind (mine anyway) the famous line from the Blues Brothers, where the police caller announces ‘the use of unnecessary violence in the apprehension of The Blues Brothers…has been approved’

    Well summarised and I agree
